The Green Climate Fund is the largest source of international climate finance. It supports the efforts of developing countries, like Jamaica, to respond to the challenge of climate change. Given the urgency and seriousness of this challenge, the Fund is mandated to make an ambitious contribution to the global response to climate change.

The GCF has several investment criteria when applying for financing. Building awareness and an understanding of these criteria among local stakeholders, is critical to Jamaica’s ability to effectively access the GCF and deploy resources to implement national climate change initiatives.

Working with the Climate Finance Advisor, we produced infographic flyers and a 28 page Climate Finance booklet. I was tasked with making the content more user-friendly and developing an appealing visual aesthetic. I provided research and content writing support in addition to visualizing the data and crafting the infographics.
